Top Five Things to do Downtown while your Child is in Class

We highly encourage parents to sit down and take a rest while their child is in class. The only reason we might want a parent to stick around for class is if their child is not potty trained. We do this to help build the students independence and confidence in class.

So, what are you going to do for the next few hours while your child is hard at work in the studio? Assuming you don’t want to drive back home just to come back a few short hours later, here are some places within walking distance of our studio for you to keep yourself occupied. A mere 300 paces north of our studio, you will find Downtown Grand Junction, a quaint little shopping mall that sells a number of fun knick knacks and what have you. Just around the corner is Edward Jones Investments, for you financial buffs out there. We, however, suggest you make a right, where you can grab yourself a slice of pizza at Pablo’s Pizza, or go across the street and snag a piping hot cup of joe from Kiln Coffee Bar. Whatever you do, there’s something for you on Main Street!

  2. ORRRRR... you can do some more educational things and come check out some cool local artwork at the Art Center, on the corner of 7th and Orchard. Thank you, Adagio, for spreading more arts and culture and enriching Grand Junction as a whole.
