Recital Checklist

The preparation that goes into a dance recital is almost as important as the recital itself; all the more reason to be sure that dancers and their families put in the time to properly ready themselves prior to a recital. Here at Adagio Dance Academy we have gone the extra mile in taking the liberty of compiling and creating a comprehensive list of all that a young dancer may need prior to their big day. Being meticulous and ensuring that our dancers have what they need eliminates any extraneous angst and allows them to focus on what they’re really here for: Dancing! Here’s what we think you will want to be sure that you have going into your recitals:

• All Costumes.
• All accessories including headpieces and barretts, ect.
• All Dance Shoes.
• Proper Undergarments.
• Extra tights.
• Extra Bobby Pins.
• Extra Hairnets.
• Extra Hair ties.

Folks, through our years in the dance industry, we’ve dealt with more dancers than you could count on your own two hands! Needless to say, we know a thing or two because we’ve seen a thing or two. If you’re in need of extra apparel, don’t hesitate to ask, we’d be happy to supply you with some of our hand-me-downs!
