Injury Prevention Education
Teaching dance anatomy also helps teach students proper ways
to perform dance moves. For our younger kids we add in core strengthening
exercises and stretches disguised as fun and engaging activities. For our older
students we have a variety of conditioning classes that help with building
muscle and stretching as well.
When work into more complex and difficult styles of dance, we want to ensure they are safe! Especially once our ballerinas start on pointe shoes.
By embedding education in all of our classes, we can ensure
a safe and fun dance environment.
